Named after the Bamisa River, which feeds the fertile valleys of southern Colombia, this coffee reflects Acevedo's volcanic environment, stable elevation, and ideal microclimate. Add to this the agricultural knowledge of local communities, and you have a complex, vibrant, and highly impactful lot.

👨‍🌾 Producers
The Rio Bamisa producing communities, supported by Qima Colombia, implement sustainable practices with an emphasis on quality and equity. Short fermentation (2–3 hours) and controlled drying (to 10–11% moisture content) maximize the bean's natural sugars and fruity expression in the cup.

🌱 Variety
Caturrón, a rare Colombian cultivar, genetically related to the Colombia variety. Derived from a Timor hybrid and Bourbon/Caturra, it is known for its oblong shape, rust resistance, and tropical, sweet, and juicy sensory profile.
