Las Cumbres is a coffee produced by Walter José Picada Pérez in Limay, Estelí (Nicaragua), at an average altitude of 1,250 meters above sea level. This family farm, now managed by the third generation, combines agricultural tradition with modern quality and sustainability practices.

The farm covers approximately 350 acres and primarily cultivates Caturra cattle, along with small amounts of Catimore, Bourbon Amarillo, and this special lot of Geisha. They maintain responsible fertilization programs, preventative disease control, and a conscious focus on environmental preservation.

The washed process begins with the manual harvesting of the ripest cherries, followed by careful flotation and pulping. The coffee is then dried at the Las Segovias processing plant until it reaches 12% moisture, ensuring stability and sweetness in the cup.

Beyond its quality, Las Cumbres stands out for its social impact. Walter actively supports the farm's workers with above-average wages and interest-free loans, strengthening the local economy.
