Description
Description
Aga Espresso comes from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, grown between 2000 and 2200 meters above sea level and processed at the Habtamu Fekadu Aga washing station, located on the border between Chelbesa and Worka.
Habtamu works with 220 small-scale producers, crafting organic washed coffees with extended fermentations of up to 60 hours, followed by meticulous drying on raised African beds. This approach highlights clarity, floral character, and balanced acidity.
Since 2023, Coffee Collective has begun to separate smaller microlots and make additional direct payments, ensuring record income for producers in the area and reinforcing its model of transparency and direct trade.
In the cup, Aga Espresso is light yet structured, with a refreshing and elegant acidity. Bright notes of bergamot, juicy peach, and fresh grapefruit stand out, accompanied by a clean and defined floral character.
A refined, vibrant, and perfectly balanced Ethiopian espresso.

Coffee Collective
Coffee Collective
At Coffee Collective, we work from a simple yet essential philosophy: To create truly great coffee, we start with the people who grow the beans. We trade directly with coffee farmers and pay prices far above market level. This is not just an investment in quality but also in farmers' livelihoods, their future, and a more sustainable coffee industry.
Just as you pay a premium for a great wine, we believe that exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding quality deserve fair rewards. By paying more, we enable producers to invest in better production methods, improve their quality of life, and develop coffee to new heights, something you can taste in every cup.
