Alba is a natural microlot grown in El Aguacate, West Valley (Costa Rica) by the Acuña (Marespi) family, third generation dedicated to coffee with total control from farm to export.

The Catuaí variety, originally developed in Brazil, has become established in Costa Rica as one of the most balanced and expressive when grown at altitude.

This plot grows at 1,890 meters above sea level, in rich volcanic soils and under the climatic influence of Cerro Chirripó, which favors a slow and uniform ripening.

The result is a sweet and ripe cup, with juicy grape acidity, tropical depth reminiscent of papaya with seeds, and delicate violet floral notes that are perceived both in the aroma and the finish.
