Description

Description

Alo Bombe is a coffee cultivated in Bombe Village, Bensa, Ethiopia, produced by Tamiru Tadesse at an altitude of 2,100 to 2,280 meters above sea level.

This washed coffee, roasted for filter, stands out for the characteristic vibrancy of high-altitude Ethiopian coffees. In the cup, it presents a clean and balanced acidity, accompanied by a floral and refined expression.

Its profile combines jasmine, white peach, and Sencha tea, resulting in a lively, elegant, and well-defined cup.

Process

This coffee uses a Washed Zero Fermentation process, where ripe cherries are carefully selected, pulped, and mechanically washed without fermentation.

After washing, the coffee is dried for approximately 12 days on African beds, being turned every hour and protected from the sun during the hottest parts of the day.

Once it reaches approximately 11% moisture, the coffee rests in a warehouse to stabilize its aromas before hulling and export.

This process aims to preserve the purity and clarity of the terroir, resulting in a clean and expressive cup.
