Description
Description
Bensa Bombe is one of the purest expressions of high-altitude Ethiopian coffee.
Grown in the Bensa (Sidama) mountains at 2,000 meters above sea level, this lot benefits from a cold climate that slows down the maturation of the fruit, resulting in denser, flavor-packed cherries.
The result is an extremely clean, bright profile with great aromatic depth, featuring citrus and floral notes and a very pronounced sweetness.
Processed at the Ayla Bombe washing station, this coffee is part of the Testi Trading project, which, in addition to quality, promotes the development of local communities.
Process
Processed using the traditional Ethiopian washed method, focused on clarity:
Manual harvesting of ripe cherries
Immediate pulping
Wet fermentation for several days
Thorough washing
Drying on raised beds until optimal moisture content is reached
This process highlights the purity of the origin and its aromatic profile.
