Description
The new crop from Kenya has arrived, and this was the first batch we personally picked during our visit to Kenya in February. From the first sip, Blackberry Disco won us over with its bright acidity, juicy texture, and burst of ripe blackberry, rhubarb, and fresh citrus flavors.
Grown at 1,800 meters above sea level, this coffee combines the SL28 and SL34 varieties, processed using the fully washed method, which highlights its cleanliness and structure. The result: a radiant, lively, and perfectly balanced cup.
Originating from small producers organized into cooperatives, this coffee represents the essence of Kenyan coffee growing. Each farmer works with just 1 or 2 hectares, cultivating under shade and delivering their cherries to local factories where fermentation, washing, and drying take place on raised beds.
The result is a bright and expressive profile, with a medium body, citric acidity, and sweet juiciness from blackberry and rhubarb, ending with a delicate touch of tonka bean. A coffee that encapsulates everything we love about Kenya: precision, fruit, and energy.

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
