If you want to know how to prepare good coffee with this filter coffee maker, here are the basic steps you should follow:

1st- Place the filter on the inner side of the coffee maker's upper cone, with the 3 layers facing the pouring spout.

2nd- Rinse the filter with hot (not boiling) water to eliminate any bad flavors, while also preheating the coffee maker.

3rd- Once the above is done, remove all excess water.

4th- Place the coffee, ground to a medium consistency, in the filter (30 grams per ½ liter, although this is a guideline). We must keep in mind that the Chemex is designed to eliminate the bitterness of the coffee.

5th- Pour water at 93 ºC (a small amount) over the coffee to moisten it and release all the desired components of the coffee.

6th- After the pre-infusion, pour more water over it until the base is soaked.

7th- Once you have the desired amount, you should lift the filter of the classic Chemex 6 with a handle to remove any excess.
