Inácio's coffee journey: a resurrected legacy in São Sebastião do Anta

In the serene region of São Sebastião do Anta, nestled in Mata de Minas, Inácio embarked on an extraordinary coffee journey, defying the odds and breathing new life into a legacy.

The soil of São Sebastião do Anta was not traditionally known for its ability to grow specialty coffee plants. Inácio's father, Jairo, traded conventional coffees, influenced by the beliefs of green coffee traders who ruled out the possibility of producing specialty coffee on his farm. Even Inácio himself had different plans until life took an unexpected turn.

A serious illness struck Jairo, forcing Inácio to return to the ranch and continue his father's legacy. Passion ignited in Inácio, fueling his determination to prove the skeptics wrong.

The FST team is on a parallel path, deeply rooted in the global premium coffee market. Contrary to expectations, their main sales focus on large-scale but exceptionally high-quality traditional varieties, such as Catuaí and Caturra. Their success is a testament to the extraordinary terroir they have been blessed with: rich volcanic soil, high altitudes, enveloping tropical forests, and idyllic climates.

The essence of FST's offering is its premium Geisha trees, descendants of Don Serracin's Geisha trees from the prestigious Don Pache estate. This rich lineage infuses its lots with a distinctive character, elevating their quality and setting them apart.
