Buku Hambela is a micro-lot produced by smallholder farmers in the Hambela region of Guji (Ethiopia) and processed at the Buku washing station, managed by Esayas Bareso.

Grown at an altitude of over 2300 meters above sea level, this coffee develops a high aromatic intensity due to the slow maturation of the cherries. The result is a clean and vibrant cup that reflects the refined character of Guji natural coffees.

Process

Processed using the natural method:

Manual harvesting of ripe cherries
Selection and flotation of cherries
Slow drying on raised African beds
Frequent turning for even drying and greater clarity in the cup
