Traceability

This coffee comes from the Ngogomo region, a mountainous area in the northeast of Burundi, known for its altitude and microclimates ideal for growing specialty coffee.

The region is part of the country's coffee belt, where small producers, grouped in cooperatives, mainly grow the Red Bourbon variety. This variety, perfectly adapted to local conditions, thrives in nutrient-rich soils and a temperate climate with abundant rainfall.

Natural processing takes place at community washing stations such as Ngogomo, which are renowned for their careful selection and drying of cherries. This method intensifies the sweet and fruity notes, reflecting the producers’ commitment to quality and sustainability.

With every cup, you directly support these farming communities that preserve the coffee tradition and biodiversity of the region.
