Each batch of this Arara comes directly from the Casa Almeida Barreto family estate, located in the highlands of Minas Gerais, Brazil, at 1,200 meters above sea level. The estate is managed by Jorge and Gabriel Barreto, who apply a rigorous and scientific approach based on their expertise in oenology, agronomy, and fermentation.
In this 2024 harvest, marked by extreme weather conditions, the farm subdivided its production into traceable micro-lots based on variety, altitude, soil type, sun exposure, microclimate, and processing method. All work—from harvesting to drying—is carried out on the farm, under the full control of the production team, ensuring origin, integrity, and transparency at every stage of the process.
This coffee is purchased through direct trade, without intermediaries, which strengthens the producer-roaster relationship and ensures authentic traceability from the plant to your cup.

From the mountains of Minas Gerais, this natural Arara from Casa Almeida Barreto offers a silky and refined cup, with notes of chocolate milk and nougat, ideal for espresso. Grown at 1,200 meters above sea level and processed with artisanal precision, this coffee reflects the Barreto family's winemaking approach, which combines science, terroir, and passion in every batch.
Despite the extreme drought that hit Brazil in 2024, the estate managed to maintain exceptional quality thanks to its regenerative farming practices and organic-rich soils. The result: a complex, sweet harvest with balanced acidity, thanks to warm days and cool nights at altitude.
