This lot comes from Finca La Fuente, a small farm located in Tarqui, Huila, between 1,825 and 2,000 meters above sea level, managed by Yobani Ramos and Yaved Guarnizo. With approximately 6 hectares planted with Caturra, Colombia, and Pink Bourbon grapes, the farm is an example of absolute dedication to quality and environmental stewardship.

Since the beginning of our collaboration, Yobani and Yaved have made significant improvements to both the farm and the winemaking process. They have renovated the fermentation tanks with tiled surfaces that are easy to clean, and added raised drying beds covered with shade netting, allowing for slower and more controlled drying.

The coffee is grown using organic and biodynamic practices, with a strong focus on soil health and biodiversity. Yaved produces various composts, biodynamic teas, and natural pesticides, taking care of both the plants and the wildlife surrounding the farm. The altitude and cooler temperatures promote slow ripening, increasing sugar concentration and aromatic complexity.

Processed using a full wash and dried on raised beds, this coffee offers a clean, fruity, and elegant cup that accurately represents the potential of the Huila terroir and the commitment of its producers. A special, refined coffee full of character.
