Low-caffeine coffee plants are incredibly rare, because caffeine acts as a protection against coffee plant diseases. This makes the Laurina and Aramosa varieties extremely difficult to grow. Both naturally contain only 0.3 to 0.7% caffeine (regular Arabica coffee contains up to 1.8%). It tastes delicious, just like our other caffeinated beans.

Aramosa is a low-caffeine variety that contains about 50% of the caffeine of a regular Arabica bean. Without compromising the body or the taste, it is a natural way that allows you to drink more coffee per day or give people sensitive to caffeine the opportunity to enjoy coffee.

Our low-caffeine varietals are always roasted as an omni roast, so you can enjoy these coffees with both filter and espresso methods.

Notes of cherry jam and nougat predominate. This brown is plush with a soft finish.
