Description
Description
Faustino Gesha coffee comes from Cajamarca, Peru, and is grown at 1,660 meters above sea level by the Flores family. The El Morito farm was founded by Faustino Flores, whose family has been producing coffee in the region since the 1970s. Today, his son David Flores continues the legacy with a modern and structured approach to quality and direct export.
In 2022, after receiving recognition at the Cup of Excellence, El Morito formalized as a producers' association, strengthening collaboration, knowledge sharing, and investment in infrastructure. Recent improvements include new fermentation tanks, African bean beds in well-ventilated solar tunnels, and a greenhouse nursery to enhance long-term resilience.
The coffee is processed as a washed coffee, highlighting its clarity and varietal purity. The altitude and slow ripening in Cajamarca contribute density and structured sweetness to the bean.
In the cup, Faustino Gesha is clean, delicate, and extremely aromatic. Notes of fresh clementine, bright bergamot, and floral chamomile are present, with a light texture and an elegant, lingering finish.
A precise and refined Gesha, ideal for those seeking transparency and pure varietal expression.

Coffee Collective
Coffee Collective
At Coffee Collective, we work from a simple yet essential philosophy: To create truly great coffee, we start with the people who grow the beans. We trade directly with coffee farmers and pay prices far above market level. This is not just an investment in quality but also in farmers' livelihoods, their future, and a more sustainable coffee industry.
Just as you pay a premium for a great wine, we believe that exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding quality deserve fair rewards. By paying more, we enable producers to invest in better production methods, improve their quality of life, and develop coffee to new heights, something you can taste in every cup.
