Gichathaini PB is a classic Kenyan with a modern approach.

Hailing from Nyeri, one of Kenya's most renowned regions, this lot is processed at the Gichathaini station, operated by the Gikanda cooperative, which brings together thousands of smallholder farmers.

This coffee stands out for its balance: it retains Kenya's characteristic lively acidity, but with a rounded sweetness and structure that makes it very easy to enjoy in both espresso and filter preparations.

Furthermore, as a Peaberry (PB) coffee, it comes from unique smaller, denser beans, known for offering a more concentrated and uniform cup.

Process

Processed using traditional Kenyan washed methods, with maximum precision:

Cherry selection at origin
Pulping and density sorting
Controlled fermentation (18–36h)
Washing and overnight soaking
Drying on raised beds (12–20 days)

This process highlights the characteristic clarity, acidity, and sweetness.
