Description
Description
Guavalanché is a community-run, natural-processed lot from the Aponte subregion of Colombia, where local producers are actively exploring new fermentation techniques and different cultivars, with a special emphasis on natural and honey processes.
Selected by DAK Coffee Roasters, this coffee has become one of their favorite Colombian naturals thanks to its combination of intense fruit, silky texture, and excellent balance. In the cup, the fruit expresses itself vibrantly and cleanly, without excess, showcasing an enveloping sweetness and a very well-integrated structure.
Notes of guava and purple fruits dominate the profile, while a smooth cocoa undertone adds depth and roundness. The result is an expressive, approachable, and highly enjoyable coffee that demonstrates the enormous potential of well-executed natural processes in Colombia.
Dak Coffee Roaster
Dak Coffee Roaster
Dak was born from a true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a never-ending journey of discovery. We are located in Amsterdam.
We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
