Halo Beriti comes from the village of Beriti, in the prestigious Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia. This microlot is produced by Mengesha Derso, who cultivates coffee in one of the highest regions of the country, between 2,200 and 2,300 meters above sea level, about 22 kilometers from Gedeb.

Beriti's natural conditions—constant fog, rich volcanic soils, and regular rainfall—allow for slow ripening of the coffee cherries, resulting in greater sweetness, bright acidity, and a highly refined aromatic complexity. The local heirloom varieties preserve the genetic diversity that makes Ethiopian coffees unique.

The washed process is carried out with special care to preserve clarity and definition. After the hand-picking of ripe cherries, the coffee is pulped, fermented in a controlled manner, and carefully washed before being slowly dried, guaranteeing a clean and structured cup.

In the cup, Halo Beriti stands out for its delicate, floral profile: soft notes of lemon verbena and white flowers emerge, accompanied by a fine acidity and an elegant finish reminiscent of black tea. A balanced, precise, and profoundly Ethiopian coffee, ideal for those seeking purity and elegance in their filter coffee.
