Halo Beriti is a coffee that unites Ethiopian tradition with modern innovation.
Hailing from Yirgacheffe, one of the most iconic coffee regions, this experimental micro-lot has been processed using an anaerobic natural method, elevating the classic profile to a more intense and contemporary expression.
Managed by Boledu (Abeyot Ageze and Mebrahtu Aynalem), this lot is part of a project that works with over 1,250 smallholder farmers, focusing on quality, training, and traceability.
This coffee was also a finalist in the first edition of the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence in 2020, cementing its exceptional level.
The result is a complex, juicy coffee with that characteristic "funky" touch of the best Ethiopian naturals.
Process
Processed using an anaerobic natural method, this coffee develops a high aromatic intensity and a great concentration of flavors.
The cherries are fermented in the absence of oxygen before drying, enhancing fruity notes, sweetness, and complexity.
Working with selected lots and controlled harvesting within very short windows allows for uniformity and quality throughout the process.
