This is the first batch worked with by Marlon Rojas, a producer located in the mountains of Huila. His farm is known for the cultivation of rare varieties like Bourbon Ají, which has been carefully washed and dried to achieve a clean, crisp, and bright sensory profile.

Marlon Rojas cultivates with precision and passion, focusing on distinct profiles and micro-lots that capture the best of the Huila terroir. His Bourbon Ají has an acidic, spicy, and floral structure, with great expressiveness in the cup.

🌱 Variety
Bourbon Ají, a rare and striking variety from Colombia, known for its notes of red fruits, soft spices, and wildflowers. In this wash, it expresses itself with precision, juiciness, and exceptional cleanliness.

“Hip Hop – Colombia” is brilliant, unexpected, and elegant. A rare strain with a sophisticated and rhythmic profile.

Dak was born from a true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a never-ending journey of discovery. We are located in Amsterdam.

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values ​​and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.

We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
