🏞️ Washing Station & Environment
This coffee comes from the Danche Washing Station, located in Chelbesa and operated by SNAP Coffee, local partners recognized for their work with certified organic coffees. The station receives cherries from approximately 400 producers whose farms, located between 2,000 and 2,300 m above sea level, benefit from fertile soils and traditional farming techniques.
The prolonged ripening of the cherries, typical of this area, intensifies the complexity and elegance of the cup profile. The result: a classic Ethiopian washed coffee with exceptional cleanliness and structure.
👨🌾 Producers
A collective of approximately 400 small farmers with plots of land between 1 and 2 hectares. Thanks to the altitude and good growing practices, they produce bright, floral, and consistent coffees that stand out in the cup for their cleanliness and delicate character.
🌱 Variety
Heirloom, a blend of high-altitude Ethiopian heirloom varieties. In this washed batch, they express themselves with a light, floral, and citrusy structure, reminiscent of delicate and elegant teas.

Dak was born from a true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a never-ending journey of discovery. We are located in Amsterdam.
We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
