Description

Ismael Andrade is a modern Brazil coffee, made to be enjoyed every day.

Cultivated between 800 and 1050 meters above sea level, this lot of Yellow Icatu combines the classic Brazilian profile—sweetness, chocolate, and nuts—with a clean and well-balanced texture thanks to the pulped natural process.

The result is a comfortable and well-rounded coffee, perfect for both espresso and filter, with a sweet breakfast-like profile that works incredibly well with any brewing method.

Process

Processed using the pulped natural method, this coffee retains part of the mucilage during drying:

Selective harvesting of ripe cherries
Partial pulping, preserving natural sugars
Controlled drying to enhance sweetness and body

This process contributes a creamy texture and a more rounded profile.

About Stray Coffee Roasters

Matthias Feldmeier and Ilan Bachl founded Stray Coffee Roasters in 2021.

A unique coffee experience depends on more than just our expertise as roasters.

Most of the work is already done in the respective growing regions by the coffee producers. Unfortunately, these people are often overlooked and given little to no recognition. We want to change that! Our coffees always bear the name of the producers (or cooperatives).

And because we believe that informed consumers are essential for the sustainability of our industry, we communicate all costs along the supply chain.
