Juice Box is a washed Chiroso from Urrao that breaks with the classic image of Colombian coffee.

Grown by a group of producers in Antioquia, this lot showcases the more floral and vibrant side of the Chiroso variety, whose genetics have been identified as Ethiopian Landrace.

The result is a clean, juicy, and vibrant cup, closer to a washed Ethiopia than a traditional Colombia.

Process

Processed using the washed method, employing the traditional "cochadas" system:

Successive harvests over several days
Fermentation primarily underwater
Collective washing before drying
Controlled drying to preserve clarity and sweetness

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values ​​and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.

We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
