Description
Description
Kariaini is a modern Kenyan classic.
Produced by smallholder farmers in Murang’a and processed at the Kariaini station, this coffee stands out for its clarity, sweetness, and consistency—everything that makes a great Kenya coffee.
Thanks to its altitude (1750–1850 masl) and meticulous double-washed process, it develops a bright acidity with a very defined sweetness.
A profile that works for those seeking a clean filter brew or a fruity espresso.
Process
Processed using the Kenyan double-washed method:
Immediate pulping after harvest
Controlled fermentation
Washing and density sorting
Second fermentation in water
