Kiawamururu proviene de la cooperativa Rumukia, en Nyeri, una de las regiones más prestigiosas de Kenia para el café de especialidad.

Cultivado entre 1700 y 1850 msnm por alrededor de 1000 pequeños productores, este lote expresa el carácter clásico del origen: una acidez vibrante, fruta intensa y gran dulzor, gracias a la maduración lenta favorecida por la altitud y los suelos volcánicos.
