Kokobe is the definition of a well-executed natural Ethiopia — sweet, juicy, and easy to enjoy.

Hailing from Aricha, in Yirgacheffe, this coffee is produced by some 1,500 smallholder farmers who cultivate their crops in some of the region's most vibrant coffee forests.

The Aricha washing station, abandoned for years, was revitalized in 2018 thanks to the efforts of the local community, becoming an example of sustainable development and quality improvement.

This coffee reflects that transformation: an accessible yet characterful profile, perfect for everyday enjoyment.

Process

Processed using the natural method, this coffee develops a sweet and fruity profile with great intensity.

The cherries are dried whole on raised beds, allowing the fruit's sugars to integrate into the bean, enhancing juicy and complex notes.

The result is a coffee with a pronounced sweetness, medium body, and great aromatic expression.
