La Lúcuma is one of the most impressive expressions of the SL9 variety we've seen in Peru.

Produced by Franco Huaches Montalvan in Cajamarca, this lot stands out for its extraordinary clarity, intense sweetness, and uncommon floral complexity. Known for years as Inca Geisha, recent genetic analysis identified this variety as SL9, a rare selection with no direct genetic relation to Gesha.

The result is a vibrant and refined cup, with brilliant acidity and impeccable structure.

Process

Processed using Dry Anaerobic Washed:

Selective harvesting of ripe cherries
Immediate pulping
Dry fermentation in sealed tanks (~32h)
Complete washing
Slow drying in parabolic dryers
Resting and stabilization before export

This process contributes to clarity, sweetness, and aromatic definition.
