Lalesa and EPHTAH

Lalesa Kebele is the origin of this coffee, grown in a high-altitude area of Ethiopia.

The lot is produced by EPHTAH and combines two Ethiopian selections, 74110 and 74112, with local varieties grouped under the Heirloom designation.

This combination allows for the exploration of different Ethiopian varieties within a single coffee.

Black Honey Process

Lalesa is processed using the Black Honey method, in which the cherry skin is removed while some of the mucilage is kept during drying.

This processing is used to develop coffees with a particular expression of sweetness and fruit.

The exact fermentation and drying times and conditions for this lot are not specified.
