Costa Rica - Lobos coffee comes from the Los Santos region, San Marcos, in Costa Rica, exactly from the Río Jorco farm, located at an altitude of 1,800-2,000 meters above sea level. This coffee is produced through a semi-washed process and uses the Catuai and Catigua coffee varieties. The harvest of this coffee took place in 2023.

Costa Rica - Lobos is a coffee with a creamy and long-lasting texture in the mouth. Its flavor is reminiscent of chocolate, with a slight aftertaste similar to that of red wine. This coffee stands out for its notes of toasted almond, chocolate and red wine. It is a versatile coffee that can be enjoyed alone, but that highlights its notes of roasted almond with milk even more.

To prepare this coffee in an espresso machine, it is recommended to use 16 grams of dry coffee to extract 36 grams of coffee in total in a cup in a time of 25 to 29 seconds. The following variables must be taken into account: water temperature at 92.5°C, pressure of 8.5 bars, La Marzocco Linea PB machine, Mythos 1 grinder and water with 70 ppm.
