Mondo, our new 87 SCA point coffee, has been produced by several coffee growers who are members of the KCCE (Kenya Cooperative Coffee Exporters). This is an export company dedicated to creating synergies between the country's small producers and the global coffee market. Mondo comes to us direct from the Ichamama washing station in the Nyeri coffee growing region.
Being the 2nd most important coffee producing region in Kenya, Nyeri is located in the north of the country and has about 12,500ha of coffee of the Arabica variety and the SL28, “L34, K7, Ruiru 11 and Batian varietals. Within the region there are 7 coffee-growing districts where there are nearly 700,000 inhabitants and has an area of 3325km2.

Mondo is our new exotic profile and filter roast coffee that comes to us directly from Nyeri in Kenya. We have named it this way since it is what they call the Serval in Swahili, a slender and agile feline that lives in the forested areas of the country and that has been tormented by man with the only interest being its skin.
As for coffee, when we are in front of Mondo we are in front of a great coffee of 87 points, which at first gives us floral aromas in the cup such as violet. A great body and citric acidity that develop sweet flavors such as panela and fruity flavors such as papaya and nectarine.
