Nutcase is a natural Yellow Catuaí produced in Cambuquira, Mantiqueira de Minas (Brazil) by DAK's long-time partner, Jaguara Coffee. Grown at 1420 meters above sea level, this lot stands out for its syrupy texture and its round, stable profile.
The natural process enhances the variety's inherent sweetness, resulting in a smooth, structured, and very approachable cup. In the tasting, it stood out for its balance and consistency, leaning towards the more classic side of the Brazilian profile.
In the cup, clear notes of praline, toffee, and cocoa appear, with a creamy sensation that makes it a comfortable, versatile espresso that is easy to enjoy both on its own and in milk-based drinks.

Dak was born from a true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a never-ending journey of discovery. We are located in Amsterdam.
We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
