OREA Flow Regulator
The OREA Flow Regulator adds a new level of control over flow and contact time in OREA brewers, allowing for more predictable extractions and the ability to adapt the brewer's behavior to different coffees and recipes.
Available in two variants:
• #2 + #4 Set — Two regulators for percolation brewing. The #2 offers a slower flow and the #4 an intermediate flow, allowing you to work with coarser grinds and better control contact time.
• #8 Switch — The fastest option, designed specifically for hybrid and immersion brewing with the Hario Switch base. It allows for a fast, clean drawdown after the immersion phase.

Additional Description
The OREA Flow Regulator controls the brewer's maximum output flow rate to more precisely manage the contact time between water and coffee. Unlike restricting flow via the coffee bed or grind size, it regulates the output directly while maintaining a uniform movement of water and air.
The #2 and #4 regulators are designed for percolation: the #2 provides the most controlled flow and extends contact time, while the #4 offers a middle ground. This allows for the use of coarser grinds while maintaining consistent extraction times.
The #8 Switch is the fastest regulator in the series and is designed for hybrid immersion and percolation methods. After the immersion phase, it allows for a fast, clean, and controlled drawdown.
Manufactured in Taiwan from food-grade silicone, BPA-free and certified to EU and US FDA standards.
