The Kenyan component comes from Kirinyaga County, one of the country's most renowned regions for its bright, structured washed coffees, made with SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties at the Gakuyu-ini Factory. This coffee contributes defined acidity, clarity, and a juicy base.

The Colombian portion comes from Huila, a key region for process innovation, and was developed by Los Patios using the Castillo variety. This is where the experimental magic happens: a co-fermentation with watermelon, carefully controlled to enhance the aromas without sacrificing purity or elegance.

Both components are processed using a fully washed method, maintaining a clear structure, and the co-fermentation introduces intensely fruity aromatic layers. The result is an expressive yet balanced coffee, where fermentation complements the bean rather than overpowering it.
