From the village of Halo Barite in the Gedeb region comes Purple Rain, a coffee as expressive as its name. This naturally anaerobically processed Ethiopian heirloom awakens the senses with layers of ripe fruit and floral sweetness, while maintaining a brilliant elegance in the cup.
Its profile combines blackberry candies, lilac blossoms, and tropical fruits, creating a juicy, aromatic, and slightly exotic experience, without being too funky. It's proof of how modern Ethiopian coffees can be as playful as they are refined.
The lot comes from the Halo Washing Station, renowned for its innovative approach to controlled fermentation. The cherries are fermented without oxygen for 72 hours in sealed tanks before being slowly dried on African beds at 1,900 meters above sea level, a process that accentuates the coffee's aromatic complexity and velvety texture.
Purple Rain is a gem that balances energy and precision—an ideal filter for those seeking a floral, sweet, and characterful coffee.

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
