This coffee comes from the Danche washing station in the heart of Gedeo, where the cherries are hand-picked and sorted. Traditional methods such as the Agaarde Disc Pulper are used to remove the pulp, followed by underwater fermentation for 48–100 hours. The beans are selected for density and dried on raised beds for 8–20 days, achieving a clean, bright, and delicately floral cup.

A network of small organic coffee farmers who deliver their cherries to Danche Washing Station, working with attention to detail to preserve the purity of the Ethiopian terroir and the most vibrant expression of the washed process.

Ethiopian Heirloom, a genetic blend of local varieties that results in a vibrant cup with citrus, fruity, and floral notes. The wash highlights the bright acidity and clean palate.

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
