Sticky Waffle returns with a new harvest that reaffirms why this coffee has become a DAK Coffee Roasters favorite. Grown in Pillcocaja, Ecuador, this Typica Golden Honey combines family tradition with a meticulous process that transforms each cup into a liquid dessert.
The Crespo family acquired the farm 12 years ago with the vision of producing exceptional coffees. The cherries, harvested at their peak ripeness, are processed in a wet mill just half a mile from the farm, ensuring absolute freshness. There, they are depulped and fermented for 18 hours using the Golden Honey method, using natural well water, before being slowly dried for 12 days on African beds with 70% shade.
The result is a sweet, silky, and perfectly balanced espresso, with notes of maple syrup, candied orange, crispy waffle, and sweet almond. Its profile is reminiscent of a Sunday breakfast—warm, cozy, and irresistible.

We select our coffees based on their unique cupping profiles and, of course, that they are 100% traceable. We partner with importers who share our values and carefully roast each of our coffees to deliver the best flavors they have to offer.
We roast on an IMF machine which provides a high degree of control and consistency in our roasts. The machine uses a convection system that allows the coffees to be properly developed in a shorter time. The result is clean, bright and sweet coffees.
