Description
Description
This natural microlot Gr.1 comes from Tanash Girma, a producer from Chelchele (Gedeb, Gedeo), who cultivates 1.9 hectares around her home at 2079 meters above sea level. Under the shade of acacia and Cordia Africana trees, Tanash works with traditional Ethiopian sub-varieties—Kumie, Diga and Wilsho—representative of the enormous genetic diversity that characterizes Ethiopia as the cradle of coffee.
The cherries were dried for 18 days on raised African beds, resulting in a naturally clean, sweet, and balanced profile. In the cup, juicy apricot, ripe pear, crisp lemon acidity, and an elegant floral touch of magnolia stand out.
A coffee that reflects the careful work of small producers in southern Ethiopia and the unique varietal richness of the Gedeb highlands.
