Description
Description
Wako Jegso is an authentic expression of Yirgacheffe's most elegant character.
Produced in Halo Bariti by Wako Jegso and his family, this coffee reflects a history of tradition, resilience, and evolution within Ethiopian coffee. Grown at 2,100 meters above sea level in a biodiverse environment, this lot combines coffee with other crops and practices such as beekeeping, creating a balanced ecosystem.
For years, Wako sold his cherries to local stations with limited returns, but today, thanks to better connections with the specialty market, his coffee shows its full potential.
The result is a delicate yet expressive coffee with great aromatic complexity.
Process
Processed using the natural method, this coffee develops a fruity intensity and pronounced sweetness.
Manual harvesting of cherries at their optimal ripeness
Careful selection to ensure quality
Drying on raised beds for approximately 3 weeks
Constant turning for uniform drying
Storage in controlled conditions before hulling
This process particularly highlights the characteristic fruity and floral notes of its origin.

About Three Marks Coffee
About Three Marks Coffee
Three Marks Coffee is a Spanish roastery and cafe located in the sunny city of Barcelona. It is the brainchild of three friends: Marco De Rebotti, Marco Pacca, and Marc Aguyé.
The idea to open their own cafe and roastery first originated in early 2018. Marco De Rebotti and Marc Aguyé had previously worked together at the equally well-known roastery Nømad Coffee. Marco Pacca joined them a little later, at that time working in an office just above Nømad Coffee. Marco now roasts for their own coffee shop and brand, Three Marks Coffee.
